Check a report

Open the verification link printed in the report, or paste the code from its “Verification code” block below.

How the check works

When ATI issues a complete satellite evidence report, it signs a short record of the report’s key facts: report ID, issue date, plot reference, country, commodity, plot area, outcome, the measured values, the methodology version and a fingerprint of the submitted boundary. The signature uses ECDSA with the P-256 curve, and only ATI holds the private signing key.

Signing happens on the server that ran the analysis, for the same boundary it measured. Request records and incomplete analyses carry no code, because there is no measurement to vouch for. Reports issued before signing began carry no code either.

This page checks that signature in your browser against ATI’s published public keys. The code travels after the “#” in the link, which browsers do not send to any server, so ATI does not learn which report you checked. The current public key is also published at /.well-known/voxtrace-signing-key.pub.

What it does not prove

  • A valid signature shows that ATI issued a report with those facts. It does not check the PDF itself, so compare each signed line with the PDF you hold.
  • The report is satellite evidence for one submitted boundary. It is not a compliance decision, proof of origin or proof of legality; the operator’s due-diligence conclusion is separate.
  • The boundary fingerprint pins the coordinates ATI analysed. It does not show that those coordinates are the right farm.
